Tipu Sultan�s summer palace or Dariya Daulat Bagh was built between 1778-1784 AD. Construction was started by Tipu�s father, Hyder Ali. Built with wood, mortar, stone and plaster this two storied palace though small, is stunningly beautiful. Every inch of the palace is decorated with motifs and paintings showcasing historic events. Surrounded by a huge garden the palace though it seems modest from outside – is a hidden gem. Use it as a solid block of 4 or to hold the 4 corners of a photograph or note.
