Tipu Sultans summer palace or Dariya Daulat Bagh was built during 1778-1784 AD. Construction was started by Tipus father, Hyder Ali. Built with wood, mortar, stone and plaster this two storied palace though small, is stunningly beautiful. Every inch of the palace is decorated with floral motifs. The outer walls are covered with�paintings showcasing historic events.
